Obituary

Marc Germain of Boston passed away unexpectedly on August 19, 2021, at the age of 64 of a heart attack. Marc was born in St. Marc, Haiti, on March 4, 1957. Marc was the son of the late Dominique Germain and Fernand Victor. Marc is survived by his loving wife Edith Germain(Camille), daughter Makisha Alycia Germain, sons Alan Michael Germain, Marckendy Germain, Pierre Jeannot and Peter Germain. Marc is also survived by his grandchildren Alan Michael Jr., Mikayla, Maggen, Keeshan, Shenyria,Jordan, Alvin, Marckencia, Yeimy, Benzima, and Gionika; nephews Carl, Marco, Wendy, Azea, Reginald, Oriol, Andre and Watson, nieces Claudine, Rita, Dominique, Magda, Marie, Carmelle, Marie Yolene, Nancy, and Antoinette, Sister-in-laws Marie Ange Francois and Gisseline Germain.

Marc worked as a Boston School Bus Driver for over 26 years. In Marc's younger years, he played soccer with a team called Citadelle and Tempette de St. Marc. Marc met his childhood friend soon to be life partner Edith Jeannot in St. Marc. Marc came to the U.S. from Haiti in 1986. Marc married his wife Edith on June 13, 1992 at St. Mary Church in Brookline,Ma. Marc was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was also a caregiver to his mother-in-law the late Emily Camille and help raise his niece's Mary "Dominique" Adenubi and Rita Jones. His favorite pastime was to DJ music for others and mostly for himself. He picked up photography capturing all of his life's moments. He would watch his favorite team, the New England Patriots, clearing his yard, and traveling with his wife. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. Marc was a hard worker, he worked as a school bus driver for over 20 years. Veolia Transportation also known as the Boston Public School Transportation was very lucky to have employed Marc. Marc worked over 40 hours a week waking up at 4 o'clock in the morning and getting home at 7 PM never complaining once. He always made sure his house hold was taken care of by all means necessary.

Marc will be truly missed by all of his family members, friends and coworkers.

Relatives and are invited to attend a viewing on Saturday August 28, 2021 from 9-10:30 AM followed by a service at 10:30 AM in the Joseph Russo Funeral Home located at 814 American Legion Highway, Roslindale, Ma. Entombment will take place in St. Michael Cemetery immediately following the service.
