Robert Charles “Bob” Williamson, 78 of Anderson, died Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Rawlins House in Pendleton.
He was born on June 18, 1943 In Anderson, the son of Robert Glen Williamson and Ruby Agnes (Chew) Williamson Haskett.
He was a 1961 graduate of Madison Heights High School and worked as a Drafting Engineer at Delco Remy/Delphi from 1962-2002. Bob was most recently affiliated with the United Wesleyan Church and previously had attended St. Matthew United Methodist Church.
He enjoyed woodworking, camping, coaching softball and watching his grandchild bowl and play baseball.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie D. Williamson, whom he married on June 25, 1965 and a daughter, Kendra Lynette Williamson.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Kris (Benny) Blevins of Mitchell, IN; grandson, Matthew Robey of Anderson; two sisters, Lois Day of Florida and Margaret (Jim) Baldwin of Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
