Teresa M. Tucker
Artist and Retired Customer Support Representative
DRACUT: Teresa M. (Walsh) Tucker, age 79, a resident of Dracut for the past 15 years, formerly of Tewksbury, Litchfield, New Hampshire, and Wells, Maine, passed away at Lowell General Hospital on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.
Born in Malden on October 7, 1941, she was the daughter of the late James Walsh and the late Christine (Bromley) Walsh.
Teresa (known as Terry) was raised mostly in Tewksbury, attended Tewksbury and Chelsea schools and graduated from Chelsea High School.
She raised her children in Litchfield, NH before moving to Wells, Maine. She lived in her beloved Wells for several years and worked at the Forbes Motel. In 2006, she moved to Dracut, MA and was employed as a Customer Support Representative by Worldwide Tech Services/Qualxserv, based in Tewksbury, MA. She retired in 2013.
Terry loved the beach, watercolor painting, crossword puzzles, going out to eat with friends and family, watching Hallmark movies, and the companionship of her cat, Bella.
She is the mother of Cheryl C. Pappas, who lives in Newton, MA with her husband Yianni Pappas, and the late David M. Tucker, formerly of Nashua, NH. Teresa leaves her grandchildren, Yianni and Sandro Pappas, C.J., Ben, and Nick Tucker, and Corey Fawcett; and her great-grandson, Colton Tucker. She was the sister of the late James Walsh, Jr.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, August 28, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury, immediately followed by her memorial prayer service to be held at the funeral home. Services will conclude with interment of her ashes at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury. While flowers are welcome, donations honoring her memory may be made to Lowell General Hospital, Philanthropy Department, 295 Varnum Avenue, Lowell, MA 01854.
