Walter Randall "Randy" Brooks, 55, of Tifton passed away Friday, August 20, 2021, at Tift Regional Medical Center. His funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 22, 2021, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Rickey Wells officiating. Mr. Brooks will be laid to rest at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 22, 2021, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Neil Lamb, Wesley Lamb, Shane Lamb, Terry Cranford, Paul Howell, Zay Billington, Gregory Walker, Steven Harnage and Jason Key will serve as pallbearers.
Born April 9, 1966, in Tifton, Mr. Brooks was the son of Jane Hutto Brooks of Tifton and the late Walter W. Brooks, Jr. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Angie Brooks Wicker. He was a truck driver for Dealer’s Choice.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Brooks is survived by his wife, Karen Brooks of Tifton; one son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Kayla Brooks of Tifton; one daughter, Brandy Brooks and Joshua Holloway of Tifton; two brothers, Larry Brooks and Alvin Brooks, both of Tifton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Montine and Gary Harrison of Omega and Marie and Randy Weeks of Moultrie; six grandchildren, Trinity Brooks, Addi Holloway, Nova Holloway, Jonah Hogan, Bryleigh Hogan and Leah Cantera; and numerous nieces and nephews.
