Benjamin “Dale” Moore, 53, of Omega passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mr. Moore at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 23, 2021, at Omega Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest. The Rev. Ricky Revels will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 23, 2021, at Omega Cemetery from 10:30 a.m. until the hour of the service.
Mr. Moore’s family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Born April 20, 1968, in El Paso, Texas, Mr. Moore was the son of the late Benjamin Tolbert Moore and Mary Nell Warren Moore. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Vikki Nell Moore. He received his technician’s degree in Texas. He was a sales associate in the Garden Center at Walmart for 27 years. He was a member of Greater Life Church in Tifton and he loved camping, fishing, classic cars and antiques. He enjoyed tinkering with broken items until they were fixed. He also loved spending time with his step-children and he loved his dog, Lucky.
Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Cassandra Lea Jones Moore of Omega; three step-children; and one nephew, Troy Blake Moore of Omega.
