Renee Marino, a 7 year resident of Medford and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at her home in Medford following a courageous battle with multiple sclerosis and congestive heart failure. She was 47 years of age.
Renee was born in Boston on November 28, 1973, a daughter of the late Oswald Marino and Beverly (O’Brien) Marino. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School System.
Renee is the devoted mother of Sahvanah R. Marino Blackwell and Gregory A. Blackwell. She is the beloved sister of Tina Ortiz and her husband Giovanni. She is the loving aunt of Melvin Rivera, Justin Robles, and Tatyana Ortiz. She is the beloved niece of Kathleen Cammarata and her husband Robert, and Lorraine Carlino and her late husband Joseph. She is the dear cousin of Chloe Rose Cammarata. She now joins her beloved children’s father, the late Terence Blackwell.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Renee's Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 11 A.M. in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown.(MASKS REQUIRED INSIDE OF CHURCH). Her burial will be private. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
