WORCESTER___Jadwiga (Gogol) Ciak, 63, of Worcester died August 8, 2021 in Worcester Health Center, 25 Oriol Drive. Her husband, Jerzy Ciak died in 2000. Her sons also predeceased her, Andrzej in 1993, Jarek in 2019 and Piotr in 2021.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Ewa Ciak and three grandchildren, Przemek, Karolina and Kamila, all in Poland; three sisters in Poland, Weronika, Renata and Aneta, three sisters-in-law, in the United States, Teresa, Elzbieta and Jadwiga as well as nieces, nephews including her Godchild, Ewa and several friends. She also leaves nieces and nephews in Poland.
Jadwiga was also predeceased by two brothers and one sister, Andrzej, Slawek and Marzena. She was born and raised in Poland, a daughter of the late Jozef and Janina (Bielacka) Gogol.
She was educated in Poland and has lived in Worcester for many years.
Mrs. Ciak worked as a machine operator for S & D Spinning Mill in Millbury for several years. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
The funeral will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 from HENRY - DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street with a Mass at 10:30 A.M. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will be at a later date in Poland. Calling hours in the funeral home are Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
