TEWKSBURY Louise Janice “Weezie” (Moreira) Tarr, 81, a longtime Tewksbury resident, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family, after a brief illness on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Blair House of Tewksbury.
Louise was born in Cambridge on January 22, 1940, a daughter of the late, Edmund Moreira and the late, Mary (Rego) Moreira. At a young age she moved to Stoneham where she was raised and educated, graduating from Stoneham High School. The summer after her graduation she got married and started to raise a family.
Louise worked for over 45 years as prototype assembler in the electronics field with Ma/Com for 25 years and CPI for 20 years before retiring in 2010. She enjoyed bowling and spent many years in bowling leagues. She also loved bingo and watching game shows and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
She is survived by her children, Michael F. Tarr and his late wife, Kathleen Tarr, of South Dennis, MA, Brian E. Tarr and his wife, Rachel Tarr, of Atkinson, NH, Jacqueline M. Puglia and her husband, Christopher Puglia, of Stoneham, MA, Lisa L. Romano and her husband, Richard Romano, of Tewksbury, MA; her grandchildren, Jacqueline, Jaime, Lindsay, Christopher Jr, Melissa, Kristian, Robert James, and Candice; several great grandchildren; her sister, Jacqueline Pando of Lady Lakes, FL; a well as her former husband and father of her children, Richard Tarr of Bonita Springs, Florida.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Robert Moreira and Donald Moreira.
