Elizabeth Diane (Raper) Bostic, 73, of Anderson died August 14, 2021 at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson.
She was born in Muncie, January 23, 1948, the daughter of Carl Bernard and Crystal (Pence) Raper. She graduated from Markleville High School in 1966 and Anderson University in 1999 with a degree in sociology. She worked as a guard at the Juvenile Department of Corrections in Pendleton. She was member of Mounds Baptist Church. She was an avid bowler in the 1970's. She loved outdoors, especially bird watching, feeding the wild animals around her property. She was an avid reader and raced go-carts in the 1990's.
She is survived by her children, Brigette (Shannon) Ealy of Anderson, Tim (Melanie) Ellis, Jr. of Pennsylvania, Matt Bostic of Wabash, and a step-son, Brian Bostic of Anderson; her brother, Bernard (Karla) Ray of Pendleton; 11 grandchildren, Riley Reason, Isaiah Reason, Heather Reason, Aryanna Ealy, Timothy Ellis, III, Nathaniel Winters, Maddison Wilkerson, Jeremy (Shelby) Bostic, Courtney (Chris) Gordon, Jordan Bostic and Keegan Bostic; four great-grandchildren; three nephews, Chris (Michelle) Ray, Brett (Amber) Ray, Brandon (Andria) Ray; eight great nieces and nephews.
She will be buried at Miller Cemetery in Middletown at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to Anderson University or Mounds Baptist Church.
