Worcester – Ronald H. Segal, 77, of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 6, 2021 in UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus.
Mr. Segal was married to the late Diane (Button) Segal who died in 1999. He is survived by his children, Matthew Mazeika and Kristen Mazeika both of Worcester; two sisters, Margaret Trychon of Sutton and Cori Segal; two grandchildren of whom he adored and cherished, Kaylah and Ryan Mazeika and many nephews and nieces.
Mr. Segal was born in Worcester, son of the late Harry L. and Lillian E. (Gadbois) Segal. He worked his entire career in the automotive industry as a mechanic for Harry’s Roadside Service, which was a business his father had started.
Ronald loved going out and having fun, he especially liked taking trips to Twin River Casino, playing Keno, fishing at local lakes and ponds and going to both the dog and horse track. He could often be found having breakfast at Jean’s Place in Worcester but he was the happiest when he was taking trips to Las Vegas and spending time with his grandchildren.
Private funeral services are being held with burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Grafton. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral home 12 Hammond St. Worcester is directing arrangements.
