Obituary

It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of Matthew William McInally, 61, of Ventura, CA. He was born on February 4, 1960 in Bakersfield, CA to Thomas and Florence McInally. His parents and family moved to Ventura when he was just weeks old, where he resided until his passing. Matt first attended school at Our Lady of Assumption before walking across the parking lot to St. Bonaventure High School where he graduated in 1978. He went on to continue his education at the University of Redlands where he obtained a degree in Business Management. He was a dedicated employee and part of the heart and soul of the local McDonalds and Paschen Management Corporation where he worked for 45 years. In his free time he could be found golfing, relaxing in his man cave, backyard, or at Cronies… always with his friends and always with a cold one. In February of 1997, he married the love of his life, Tammy, and together they joined their two households and raised their four kids with countless memories of fun, laughter, and joy. Anyone who knew Matt knew his love for Tammy and hers for him. Whether it was coaching his sons in little league, attending everyone’s games in high school, going on father daughter dates, family vacations, or quality time with his wife, family was always his priority.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy McInally of Ventura, CA., as well as his children Andrew (Bridget) McInally of Aspen, CO., Ryan McInally of Aspen, CO., Brittney Montgomery and Scott Montgomery, both of Ventura, CA. He is also survived by his Father, Thomas McInally, siblings, Thomas McInally Jr.,Jennifer Artiles, Steve McInally and Greg McInally as well as his granddaughter Kamrynn Anderson and many nieces and nephews, all of whom he adored. He is preceded in death by his mother, Florence McInally. At this time the family would like to extend their gratitude to our lifelong friends and family; Rebecca Wilson, the Paschen’s, Root’s, Morrison’s and Gutierrez’s families and countless others for their assistance and support through such a difficult time. You have shown that true friendship doesn’t end with death.

Funeral services will be held at the at Marian Plaza at Our Lady of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church on Friday, August 20th, at 4:00 pm. Arrangements are under the direction of JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 E. Main St, Ventura CA 93001.
