Cynthia Ellen Hart, 60, of Franklin, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, August 14, 2021. Cindy was born in Needham, MA on October 9, 1960 to Bernard and Audrey (Warren) Yurt.
A longtime resident of Franklin, MA, Cindy loved spending time with her family. She wed her husband Richard Hart on September 29, 1984 and they created a lifetime of memories being married for 37 years. Together, they had two beloved children, Kaitlyn and Brian. Kaitlyn (Hart) Lallier, her husband Paul and their daughter Brynley reside in North Smithfield, RI and Brian Hart and his partner Jade McDuff live in Woonsocket, RI their daughters, Jaelynne Hart and Kalayshia McDuff. Cindy was most looking forward to the birth of her first grandson, Aiden James Lallier in October 2021.
She will be deeply missed by her sisters Susan Kilduff of Franklin, MA, Laurianne Storme and her husband Robert of Blackstone, MA, Steven Yurt of East Haven, CT and Kristen Maher and her husband Ronald of Franklin, MA. She is predeceased by her parents Bernard and Audrey (Warren) Yurt. Her stepmother Janet Yurt, currently resides in Wrentham, MA. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. from 3-6pm with her funeral service following, beginning at 6pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to BeTheMatch.org, in honor of Cindy and her life-saving donation of bone marrow that saved her sisters’ life in December 2016.
