Michael I. Levitt, age 23, of Atkinson, NH passed away unexpectedly August 11th. Born in Boston, he was raised in Atkinson, NH and graduated from Timberlane Regional High School in Plaistow, NH in 2017 where he played on the Lacrosse team. After high school he went on to Franklin Pierce University where he majored in Sports Media and was an intern in Strength and Conditioning. He graduated in May of 2021 with honors and was due to start an MBA program in Leadership in September. Michael was an avid sports fan and loved hockey, football and lacrosse. He was a big Pittsburgh Steelers fan and had the opportunity to attend two games in Pittsburgh. Michael traveled extensively with his family, especially to New Orleans to visit with family. Mike became a friend to all who met him. Beloved son of Carolyn Knoepfler and her husband Mark of Atkinson, NH. Twin brother of Jacob Levitt of Atkinson, NH. Great nephew of Duncan MacLeod of Canton. Also survived by many family members and numerous friends. A celebration of Michael’s life will be held on August 24th from 4-7 pm at Atkinson Country Club, Atkinson NH.
