Frances Giannetti (Terranova) of Medford passed away on August 13, 2021. She was 85 years old. Born in Boston, she was the cherished daughter of the late Frank P. and Filippina (Guccardi) Terranova.
Prior to her retirement, Frances worked in the mayor’s office in Medford City Hall as a secretary. She was an avid gardener and book reader.
Frances was the devoted mother of Cynthia A. Lima and her husband Christopher of Medford and Arthur Giannetti and his fiancée Joanne Corrigan of Medford. She was the adored grandmother of Melissa Pierce, Michelle Huberdeau, Kayla Giannetti and Nicholas Lima and the loving great-grandmother of Christopher, Kylie, Colton and Hazel. Frances was the dear sister of Rose Savosik, Frank Terranova and late Mary Giannetti all of FL. Frances will also be missed by her beloved K9 companion Sally.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend Frances’s funeral Mass on Tuesday, August 17 in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, MA, at 10AM. Please go directly to church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty Street, Danvers, MA 01923.
Services will conclude with burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
