Dolores McMillan McGhee, 89, of Tifton passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 16, 2021, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Brother Charles Connell officiating. Mrs. McGhee will be laid to rest at Oakey Grove Church Cemetery in Berrien County. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 15, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. McGhee’s special friends will serve as pallbearers.
Born April 29, 1932, in Berrien County, Mrs. McGhee was the daughter of the late Oscar McMillan and Ruth Griner McMillan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Grady McGhee; and one brother, James McMillan. She was a homemaker and a member of New River Holiness Church.
Mrs. McGhee is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Buster and Ann McGhee of Tifton; four daughters and one son-in-law, Peggy M. and Herman Brown of Tifton, Mary Gail McGhee of West Berrien and Barbara McGhee and Wanda M. Yawn, both of Tifton; four sisters, Theda Goddard of Tampa, Florida, Marcia Willis of Meansville, Angelia Dove of West Berrien, Debbie Remaley of Del Rio, Texas; seven grandchildren, Travis Brown, Mack Brown, Regina Lee, Brian McGhee, Charlene Tawzer Holt, Zachary Yawn and Tina Yawn; and ten great-grandchildren, Brandon Brown, Katie Brown, Hannah Brown, Cheyenne Brown, Sam Brown, Bronc McGhee, Valerie Lee, Waylon Lee, Sofia Holt and Eriq Mason, Jr.
