Peggy Jane “Grammy” Jennings, 84, of Simi Valley, CA, passed away on August 11, 2021 in her daughter’s home. Peggy was born in Klamath Falls, OR to Ora May Dalley and James Thomas Reese on November 18, 1936. She spent much of her childhood and adolescence on the beaches of Santa Monica jumping off the pier, swimming through the pilings, and doing gymnastics on the beach. Peggy’s life was made rich through the spending of time with her daughter Kelly and granddaughters McKayla and Kendra, along with helping countless friends and family members in need. Her burning love for Elvis Presley remained tangible, even during these past few years. Peggy is survived by her daughter, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and by all who lovingly know her as “Grammy” and have enjoyed her homemade chocolate chip cookies. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Jennings, and her 6 siblings.
