FRAMINGHAM: Lucille L. “Lucy” (Bouchard) Dube, 72, died peacefully and quietly under the care and comfort of her family at her residence in Framingham on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 following a courageous conflict with cancer.
She was born in Waltham on January 25, 1949 the daughter of the late Arthur Bouchard and Annette (Bourque) Bouchard.
Lucy is survived by her devoted and loving husband James Andrew Dube of Framingham. Beloved mother of Sandra Lynn Kaliscik of Bow, NH and Bryan Scott Dube of Geneva, IL. Cherished grandmother of Hailey and Bennett Kaliscik and Zoey Dube. Sister of Pauline Holm of Maynard and the late Yvette Prophet and Morris Bouchard.
She spent her formative years in Waltham and graduated from Waltham High School. She received her Certificate in Bookkeeping from Bentley College in Waltham.
Lucy has been a well respected and much sought after Bookkeeper in the Metrowest area. For many years, she and her husband Jim were the owners of L & J Accounting Services. She and Jim also spent time as DJ’s and she was the Master of Ceremony with their company, Sound Train.
She enjoyed listening to music of the early 60’s and traveling with Jim when the opportunity presented itself. Lucy was dedicated to her profession and was well respected in the community. Her family was the core of her being and she enjoyed all of the times they shared together.
Visitations will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (off Rt. 30), Cochituate Village, Wayland. Lucy’s family requests that all family and friends wear masks while in the funeral home.
Private family burial will be in the Holm-Dube family lot in Glenwood Cemetery, Maynard.
