Helen (Balboni) Santomarco peacefully passed away on August 6th, 2021 at Maples Rehab & Nursing Center in Wrentham, MA at the age of 96 and a 1/2 as she would say. She was born in Norwood MA on March 17th, 1925.
Helen will always be remembered as a first-rate seamstress, wife, mother, and friend.
She always kept busy traveling, cooking, sewing, volunteering at the Walpole Food Pantry and meeting up with her friends and family.
For those she has left behind, I am sure you have tasted her delicious food, had her mend something or just listened to her laughter and enjoyed her contagious smile.
Helen was the wife of her late husband Gigi Santomarco and is the proud mother of her children, Louis & Dotti Santomarco of Walpole, MA, Pat & Charlie Devine of Largo FL, Mary Jo & Charlie Frye of North Reddington Beach, FL. Michael Santomarco of Walpole, MA & Heidi Zahner of Franklin, MA, and Holly & Barry Dosick of Sagamore Beach, MA. Her children were her life and she was able to have a special bond with each and every one of them. She is also the Grandmother of Jodi & Elias Sevastos, Ricky Harding, Jaime Rea and Daniel Dosick, and the Great Grandmother of Antonios, Maria & Nikos Sevastos, Brandon Slezak, Claudia Harding, and Brynn Dosick. She is also a loving Aunt to many Nieces and Nephews.
She will be greatly missed.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, August 19 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin from 4-6 p.m.
Please note that facial masks will be required to attend the celebration.
