Maria Dos Anjos Campos (deMedeiros Sardinha) has been called by the Angels and has passed on July 5, 2020 at age 80 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Born August 15, 1939 in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel Açores, she leaves her Husband of 59 years, Manuel Leite Campos, her daughter Jovita Borges (husband Jose Luis), her 2 sons Rui Campos (wife Georgina) & Emanuel Campos (wife Minah); her sister Lidia de Medeiros of Acores; 4 grandchildren Kia Borges, Seth Borges, Liam Campos and Mika Campos, as well as many extended family members, nieces and nephews, and friends.
Maria dos Anjos was a 2nd Generation American and resided in Somerset, MA with her family. She worked alongside her husband and children in their family’s furniture business Charlmor Furniture of Fall River. She loved to travel, host parties, crochet & knit beautiful gifts for her grandchildren and she loved to cook & bake goodies for her family to enjoy.
Her funeral mass will take place at Santo Christo Church on Monday, August 16th at 10 A.M. Entombment at Notre Dame Mausoleum. The family will be receiving visitors at the entrance of the church prior to the mass. Arrangements were under the direction of Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River.
