Joseph P. Doherty, III

Joseph P. Doherty, III, age 59, of Mansfield passed away peacefully, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, August 7, 2021.
Born in Lowell, MA on September 25, 1961, he was a loving son of the late Joseph P., II and Joan (Roscoe) Doherty.
Joe grew up in Lowell, was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in Lawrence and continued his education, graduating from UMass Lowell.
A resident of Mansfield for the past thirty years, Joseph had previously worked as a Director of Sales at Saviynt Inc. for over five years.
Joe loved spending time amongst family and friends and his hobbies included playing cards, golfing and being an ardent New England Patriots fan. He will always be remembered for his remarkable cooking skills and as a very competitive person and perfectionist in all he did.
He is survived by his devoted children: Brent J. Doherty of Boston, Cassidy R. Doherty of Mansfield and Ainsley R. Doherty of Mansfield. He was the loving companion of Donna Manjourides of Franklin and the dear brother of Lisa Brown of New Hampshire, Jan Adie of New Hampshire, Kristin Doherty of Florida, Kevin Doherty of Florida and David Doherty of New Hampshire.
Services, along with burial at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield will be private.
Visiting hours are omitted and those wishing may remember Joseph with a donation in his memory made to the Mansfield Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 25, Mansfield, MA 02048.
