David Reed Harris, simply known as ‘Reed,’ of Ventura, California passed away in his home on July 27, 2021. Reed was born in Falls Church, Virginia to Paula Harris-Long and Stephen Harris on May 18, 1975. He spent most his childhood in Warsaw, Indiana where he played golf, tennis, basketball and skied. Reed went to Indiana University and graduated with a bachelors in 1997. He went on to obtain a Master’s Degree in Health Administration in 2000.
Reed loved sports and was a die-hard Hoosier basketball fan. He coached many of his son’s sports, including baseball, basketball and soccer. He was a dedicated husband, loving father, caring son and great friend. He had a remarkable sense of humor that will always be remembered.
Reed is survived by his wife of 17 years, Brooke, and their 11 year old son, Quentin, as well as his mother, Paula Harris-Long, and father, Stephen Harris, and many loving family and friends.
