Randall Charles "Randy" Charlton, 55, of Anderson died August 8, 2021 at Community Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born August 23, 1965 in Anderson, the son of Robert Lee and Betty Ann (McColpin) Charlton. He graduated in 1983 from Madison Heights High School and achieved an associate's degree. He served as an HVAC/R Service Technician for over 30 years. He was a devoted grandfather and loved spending time with his family especially hosting cookouts. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed the out doors.
Randy is survived by his five children, Cody (Catherine) Charlton of Whiteland, Meghan (William) Griffith of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Shasta (Shane) Charlton of Nashville, Tennessee, Caleb (Hannah) Charlton of Rochester, Michigan and Conner Charlton of Nashville, Tennessee; special friend, Robin "Bird" Shaffer of Ingalls; nine grandchildren, Lily, Charles, Sloane, Reese, Ira, Nori, Haleigh, Clara and Chloe; brother, Robert Wayne (Lupe) Charlton of California, five nieces and nephews, Tonya Charlton, Chad (Mary Ellen) Edwards, Christine (William) Hogerman, Elizabeth (Shad) Hebert and Robbie (Brandy) Charlton; two great nephews, Ivan Hebert and Nathan Edwards.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Debra Ann Harshman.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
