CHICOPEE – Ronald J. Caron, 75, of the Aldenville section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Friday, August 6, 2021. He passed into Eternal Life at Holyoke Medical Center surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. Ron was born in Holyoke on September 25, 1945, a beloved son of the late Wilfred and Lea (Tougas) Caron. He was raised on Britton Street in the Fairview section of Chicopee and lived there for most of his live before moving to Aldenville in 2018. He was employed as a materials handler for the National Blank Book Company, which later became the Avery Dennison Company, in Holyoke and Chicopee. During his leisure time, Ron was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing horseshoes with his many friends. Most of all, he loved his family and his many friends. He leaves his beloved wife, Anita C. (Desilets) Caron. They were married on June 3, 1967 at the former Immaculate Conception Church in Holyoke and were blessed with over 54 years of happiness together. He leaves his two loving sons, Ronald J. Caron, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, of Chicopee and John R. Caron and his wife, Pamela, of Ludlow; his three cherished grandsons, Andrew, Ryan and Nolan Caron; his dear sister, Dorothy Gladu and her husband, Roy, of Chicopee; and his many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, numerous friends and extended family members. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his dear brothers and sisters, Robert Caron, Patricia LaRocque, Richard Caron and Barbara Caron.
