In Boston, August 6, 2021 David A. Westgate Sr. husband of the late Carol (Connors) Westgate died at Brigham & Woman’s Hospital at the age of 70. Born in Middleboro, David was the son of the late Albion and Alice (Balboni) Westgate. David was educated in the East Taunton school systems and was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed riding his Harley and working on and driving race cars. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. David was the father of Ramona Westgate and her wife Tina Scanlan of Nova Scotia and David Westgate and his wife Amanda Fields of Taunton. Step Father of Sara Allen and Ashley Allen both of Kingston, MA. Grandfather of RJ, Jacob, Justin Alcorn all of Nova Scotia, Cody, Madison, Myles Westgate all of Taunton and great granddaughter Dahlia Alcorn of Nova Scotia. Brother of the late Patricia Blackwell. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton Tuesday, August 10th from 6-8 PM. Interment will be private.
