Heather M. Sledzik, age 35 of Brockton died unexpectedly August 5, 2021 at her home. She was the loving daughter of Richard and Carolyn (Heath) Sledzik and cherished mother of Mya. Born and raised in Brockton, Heather was a 2005 graduate of Brockton High School and Alino Cosmetology School. For several years she was a hair stylist in the Brockton and Canton area.
Heather enjoyed music, dancing and jogging and loved going to the movies with her daughter. Heather was a very easy going, giving and genuine person who embraced life. She loved being with friends and family.
Heather was the sister of Jessica Sledzik of Raynham, Richard Sledzik of Brockton and Kaitlynn Sledzik of Taunton. She is survived by her grandmother Winifred Heath of Yarmouthport, several aunts, uncles and cousins and Mya’s father Raymond Sampson.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (rte. 123) Brockton on Wednesday, August 11 from 4-7pm. The procession will gather at the funeral home on Thursday at 9am for a funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 10am. Masks are suggested but not required.
