Cliff E. “Eddie” Minshew, 53, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at Dorminy Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 8, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Abba Cemetery, Ben Hill County. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Minshew was born May 26, 1952, in Ben Hill County, Georgia to the late Clifford Lee and Frances Elizabeth Dale Minshew. He was a 1971 graduate of Fitzgerald High School and received an accounting degree from Ben Hill-Irwin Tech. He worked as a security guard and as a driver with A-1 Medical Transport and Domino’s Pizza. He was a former resident of Macon and attended Abba Baptist Church.
Mr. Minshew is survived by one son: Cliff Minshew of Box Springs, GA; one daughter: Flora Jean Convery of Walnut Hill, FL; six grandchildren: one sister: Shirley M. Jenkins of Fitzgerald; as well as several nieces and nephews.
