Frances (Bell) Meisser, 88, of Londonderry, NH, passed away following a period of declining health on Friday August 6, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 27,1932 in Lowell, MA, a daughter of the late George and Cecile (Lamoureaux) Bell. She graduated from Lowell High School and Lowell Commercial College. Frances worked for the IRS and Essem Packing Company before moving to Gilford, NH in 1988. She spent winters in Palm Beach, FL since 1991 and moved to Londonderry in 2012. Frances was an avid golfer and former member of the Longmeadow Golf Club in Lowell, MA. Frances and her husband Stan were members of the Nevins Community in Londonderry.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Stanley Meisser, three sons, Robert and wife Mary Beth, Brian and wife Veronica, and Richard; daughter Karen Meunier and husband Alan, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, as well as many nieces. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, George Bell, Jr and sister, Rita Sayball.
At the request of Frances, there are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday August 13, 2021 at 10:00am in the St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. Committal services will be held privately by the family in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Tewksbury, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
