Darlene F. Hampton (65) of Brockton died August 5th unexpectedly at home. She was the wife of the late Ernest G. Hampton Sr.
She was born in Brockton, daughter of the late David Snow Sr. and Phyllis (Chick) Falzarano. Darlene worked for various establishments as a bartender including Asack’s, Oak Louge and the Brockton Cafe. She also worked as a waitress for Sandy’s Muffin Shop. Darlene was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed game shows, soap operas, shopping, cooking and was known as an outspoken person. She loved to spend time with her family and friends.
Darlene is survived by 2 daughters, Melissa Hampton of Avon and Sherri Darlene Hampton of Stoughton, (mother of the late Ernest G Hampton Jr.), 3 brothers, David Snow Jr. of Pembroke, Darin Snow of Ware and Kevin Snow of Virginia, 6 sisters, Denise Missios of Brimfield, Charlene Johnson of Texas, Edith Penrose of New York, Gina Snow-Farris of Tennessee, Doreen Drake and Cheryl Melberg both of Maine, (grandmother of the late Dana Mitchell Jr.), 2 grandchildren, Travis Powell-Hampton and Dana Mitchell II.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Sunday August 15th from 1-4 pm. Cremation to follow.
