Kathleen A. Casey (McCabe) of Dedham and Centerville, died peacefully on August 5, 2021 at 86 years of age. Beloved wife of Robert L. Casey, Sr. and loving mother of Robert L. Casey Jr. of Denver, CO, and his wife Anna, Michael F. Casey of Franklin and his wife Jennifer, and Sean C. Casey of Charlotte, NC and his wife Susan. Grandmother to Rob, Caroline, Caitlin, Ashlyn, Anna and Lily. Sister of Paul J. McCabe of Dedham, Ann Tyler of Dedham, John McCabe of Dedham, and late Mary Needham, late Francis McCabe, late William McCabe, late Rita McCabe. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graduate of Massachusetts State Teachers College, with a Master’s in Education from the University of Massachusetts. She was a beloved teacher who had a significant impact on hundreds of children in the Dedham and Brockton Public School systems. Her Legacy will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
Visitation at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham on Monday, August 9 from 8:30–9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
