Maria Rosaria “Marisa” (Belmonte) Malone, of East Boston, passed away on August 5, 2021.
Beloved wife of 44 years to Walter Malone. She was predeceased by her parents Angelo of Bonito, Italy and Gerardina Belmonte of Avellino, Italy.
Marisa leaves behind her loving sister Giulia Bellofatto, and her husband Salvatore, her loving sister Marina Lacorazza, and her husband Michael and her sister-in-law Linda Genovese, and her husband Alan. She was a loving aunt to Deana Leonard, and her husband Keith, Lauren, Sera and Jamie Genovese. She was great aunt to Riley, Dylan, Evan and Gia Leonard. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Marisa was an avid reader, and was quite smart. She knew a little bit of everything and would sometimes give you the history of the answer in detail. She was also a seamstress to the masses and there wasn’t anything she couldn’t fix with her needle and thread. She loved gardening and took great pride in her yard’s beauty. She was truly her father’s daughter, as his yard was always in bloom.
Marisa was the type of person who saw the “good in everyone” and was that person whom everyone loved. May her memory be eternal.
