SPENCER - Daniel M. Carlson, Jr., 47, died Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at home.
He leaves a daughter, Kristina M. Trifone and her husband Brandon of Chaplin, CT; a son, Kody D. Carlson of Charlton; a grandson, Odin Fleury; a brother, Matt Carlson of Charlton; a sister, Heather Carlson of Dudley; his paternal grandmother, Joyce (Lyford) Carlson of Charlton; nephews and nieces.
He was born on August 21, 1973 in Southbridge and raised in Charlton, the son of Daniel M. Carlson, Sr. and Earlene (King) Carlson and resided in Spencer since 2007. He attended Shepherd Hill Regional High School in Dudley.
Mr. Carlson worked in construction for the former P & E Construction in Charlton until he retired because of illness.
He loved working on cars and riding his ATV four-wheeler. An outdoorsman, he liked snowboarding and snowmobiling, fresh water and ice fishing, and hiking. He enjoyed going to yard sales with his family. He attended the Charlton Baptist Church with his grandmother and Tracy Nolin.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster.
