Mary B. (Kelly) Clifford, 88, of Dorchester passed away in her home on Sunday August 1st, surrounded by her loving family with her beloved Red Sox on the radio.
Daughter to the late John and Annie Kelly of Ireland, Mary was a long-term Licensed Practical Nurse in Geriatrics. Loving mother to the Late Mary J. McGrath and Erin M. Clifford Murphy and her Husband Brendan of Weymouth. Devoted Sister to identical twin Anna F. Shea and late husband John Shea of West Roxbury, John and wife Jean Kelly of South Carolina and James Kelly of Michigan.
She was also a caring grandmother to Timothy, Patrick, Matthew, and Bridget, and proud great-grandmother to Logan. Her love was also shared by her many nephews and nieces as well as her grandnieces and grandnephews. Adoring grand-dogmother to Sheena.
Visiting hours to be held Thursday 4PM to 8PM at the Casper Funeral Home located at 187 Dorchester Street. Funeral Mass on Friday 10AM at St. Monica’s located at 331 Old Colony Ave. Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life Friday 12PM to 5PM at the Old Colony Yacht Club located at 235 Victory Road in Dorchester.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Wounded Warrior Project or PittieLove Rescue.
