SULLIVAN, Kevin C. 89, of Tewksbury, passed away in the comfort of his home on August 1, 2021. Sullivan is the forever beloved husband of 55 years to the late Margaret A. “Peggy” Sullivan. Caring father of Kevin A. Sullivan & his wife MaryJane of Tewksbury, Mary C. Gorman & her husband John P. of West Newbury, John D. Sullivan of Tewksbury, David F. Sullivan & his wife Katherine of Boston & the late Paul H. Sullivan.
Loving grandfather of Ryan Sullivan, Ashley Smith, Kerri Sullivan, Margaret Lagarce, Jack Gorman, and Hannah & John K. Sullivan. Great-grandfather to Callum, Danny, Isla, Marley, Timmy, Lana, Paul, Grant, and Tommy.
Son of the late John D. & Mary Sullivan. Brother of the late Mary E. Sullivan, John F., S. Regina Patenaude, Teresa V. Toomey, Dorothy Hodgson, Harold J., Timothy D., Robert P., Chester, Michael & Edward Sullivan. Brother-in-law to the late Ann Marie Roberts.
Prior to becoming the patriarch of his large family, Sullivan served his country as a U.S. Navy veteran in the Korean War with the Navy Seabees. After leaving the service, Sullivan ran a construction company, several small businesses, and earned his law degree. Sullivan was a lobbyist, general practice lawyer, and served as counsel to many influential politicians and businessmen from the mid-1970s until his semi-retirement in the 1990s. He is remembered for his work ethic and political interests, notably the former chairman of the Tewksbury Board of Selectman and Board of Health, and the first Tewksbury resident to serve as State Representative for 28th Middlesex District.
Kevin’s family would like to especially thank Evelyn Cooper, and Sade and Lovetta Mansaray for their commitment to providing thoughtful care to their father the last few years of his life.
