Jeannette M. (Lareau) Thornton, 93, of Manchester died July 24, 2002 at Catholic Medical Center after a sudden illness.
Born in Suncook on December 26, 1908, she was the daughter of John and Alma (Roy) Lareau. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Mrs. Thornton worked in the textile industry in Manchester for many years. She was a longtime communicant of St. George Church.
The family includes her husband, Lawrence C. Thornton of Manchester and nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated July 26, 2002 in St. George Church, corner of Pine and Orange streets. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd..
