FALL RIVER… Edward D. Mosa, 54, of Fall River, passed away, Sunday, July 25, 2021, at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
He was a son of the late Emil and Faridi (Jordan) Mosa and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
Eddie was a gentle giant. He never hurt anyone, never got into any trouble or drugs. He loved animals, reading, art, cooking. He loved his family and he loved to walk. If anyone would like to honor Eddie, every once in a while ditch the car and take a walk and think of Eddie (and think of the health benefits you’ll get). If you saw Eddie walking and asked him if he needed a ride he would probably tell you “No”, he wouldn’t want to impose on you. He would be more interested in asking you about your family or what you’re doing or how you are doing. He spent a lot of the time around the Flint section of Fall River, just the same as his father, Emil. He worked his share of jobs, but his favorite was working at Kuss Middle School in food service. A person’s life is more than just a few sentences put on paper, just know that if you ever met Eddie, you would like him, and he you.
Eddie was diagnosed with cancer on or about the 22nd of June and 32 days later he was gone. When you hear that old saying “Live is short, so make the best of every moment”. There is a lot of truth and conviction to it. Time goes by so fast; Halloween is less than three months away and America is working on it’s second or third pandemic. When you put out your Halloween decorations this year, think of Eddie. He loved putting out gourds and pumpkins all year long. We will all miss you Eddie, but just you think. This Christmas Eddie will be spending with Jesus and his mom, father, Uncle Bill, Aunt Beatrice and all his past ancestors in eternity.
Survivors include two brothers: Fred M. Mosa of Phoenix, AZ, and Joseph J. Mosa of Fall River.
Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday, August 2, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River, MA.
