WEBSTER – Irene T. (Katrenak) Kilinsky, 88, of 43 First St., died Tuesday, April 4, in Hubbard Regional Hospital after being stricken ill. Her husband of 54 years, John W. Kilinsky, died in 1991.
She leaves a son, Thomas J. Kilinsky of Webster; a daughter, Patricia M. Davis of Whitinsville; a granddaughter, Darlene J. Davis of Thompson, CT; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her 7 brothers and 5 sisters.
She was born on April 6, 1917, in Webster, the youngest child of John and Annie (Azud) Katrenak and lived here all her life.
Mrs. Kilinsky worked as a stitcher at Bates Shoe Company for 37 years, retiring in 1981. She and her husband also raised chickens to sell for several years.
The funeral will be held Friday, April 7, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. Calling hours are from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, April 6, in the funeral home.
