Carole A. Ross (Goodrow) of Weymouth, MA passed away on July 26, 2021. She was the wife of the late G. Kenneth Ross, Jr. and the loving mother of Brian K. Ross and his wife Janine and her beloved grandchildren Jacob K. Ross and Courtney M. Ross. Carole is survived by her siblings Joseph C. Goodrow, Claire G. Armburg, Dorathy M. Archibald and Robert P. Goodrow. She was predeceased by John F. Goodrow, June M. LeVangie and Arlene F. Mills. She was the daughter of the late Anna C. Goodrow (Donahue) and Joseph A. Goodrow. Carole was also the sister-in-law of James Ross, Robert Ross and Marie LaCerda and predeceased by her in-laws Gordon K. Ross, Sr., Helen Ross and Edith Ross. She is survived by many nephews and nieces, extended family, dear friends and her special Prayer Pals!
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Carole on Monday, August 2, 2021 from 4-8pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth, MA. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home on Tuesday morning at 9:30am for a Celebration of Life prior to the Funeral Mass which will be held in the Sacred Heart Church in Weymouth Landing at 10:30am. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in W. Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Carole’s name may be sent to My Brother’s Keeper, P.O. Box 338, Easton, MA 02356 or to NVNA and Hospice, 120 Longwater Drive, Norwell, MA 02061.
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun. You can love me most by letting me live in your eyes, and not just in your mind. I’d like you to remember all the wonderful times we’ve had. Love doesn’t die people do, so when all that’s left of me is love, give me away. I hope you had as much fun as I did.
