Colleen Theresa DeLuca Sr., 64, of Manchester, died April 2, 2006 at Catholic Medical Center.
Born in Manchester, July 2, 1941, she was the daughter of Paul and Josephine Kendrigan.
She was a Manchester resident for many years and graduated from West High School, and from the Moore General Hospital School of Nursing. In addition she attended Hesser Business College.
She was a registered nurse and worked at the Masonic Nursing Home for 15 years and most recently at Courville at Manchester. She was an active participant of the Health Care Review Symposium.
She enjoyed her pets, gardening, and day trips to Mohegan Sun.
Family members include her husband of 46 years, Dominic R. DeLuca Sr. of Manchester; a daughter, Colleen T. DeLuca Jr. of Weare; a son, Dominic R. DeLuca Jr. of Manchester; five cousins, Judge Martin F. Loughlin of Manchester, Francine Fournier and Marie Claire Pleau of Canada, Janet Nolin of Florida and Claire Lesnyk & Family of Manchester; nieces and nephews.
A Service of Remembrance was held Friday April 7, 2006 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, at the convenience of the family.
