Ann E. (Collard) Sullivan, age 68, of New Bedford passed away peacefully on July 21, 2021 surrounded by family after a courageous battle against cancer. She was the loving wife of Daniel J. Sullivan.
Daughter of the late Henry and Margaret (Neville) Collard, Ann lived in New Bedford for most of her life.
Retired from Barry Investment Advisors, she most enjoyed spending her time with family and close friends. She was known for her positive attitude, desire to live life to the fullest, and for always having her ducks in a row.
Along with her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Erin Sullivan of Acushnet, and one son, Matthew Sullivan and his wife Jillian of Fairhaven; two sisters, Mary Bento and her husband Russ of Fairhaven and Carol Rossi and her husband Randy of New Bedford; one brother, Henry Collard, Jr. and his partner Candace of California; three grandchildren, Jack Sanford, Owen Sullivan, and Emma Sullivan; and several nieces and nephews.
Her family would like to thank her team of doctors at Tufts Medical Center for their exceptional care and kindness to Ann throughout her illness.
Her visiting hours will be on Sunday, July 25th from 2-5 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 26th at 10 AM in St. John Neumann Church. The public is invited to meet directly at church in the morning. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her honor may be made to the Boys & Girls Club of New Bedford, 166 Jenney St. New Bedford, MA 02740.
