CAPPUCCI, Maria P. (Delle Monache) of Roslindale formerly of Alanno, Italy passed away on July 19, 2021 at the age of 86. Daughter of the late Giorgio Delle Monache and Leonilda (Odoardi) of Alanno, Italy. Survived by her devoted husband of 60 years Giovanni Cappucci. Loving mother to both her predeceased sons Antonio L. Cappucci and Giovannino F. Cappucci and his surviving spouse Marjorie Cappucci. Cherished Nonna to her granddaughters Daniella Cappucci and Isabella Cappucci. Caring Great-Nonna to Gianni and Angelo. Maria was a loving sister to her siblings Nina, Josephina, Carminella, Carmine, and Remo. She is also survived by a large extended family.
Born in Alanno Italy in 1935, she was the eldest of eight siblings. Maria was a hard worker, employed at the Polaroid Factory for over 20 years. As a proud devout Roman Catholic she had a giving heart, cared deeply for people, and frequently donated to local and Italian churches/charities. Maria enjoyed cooking and sharing her delicious creations, especially with family and friends.
Her most cherished times were those spent with her family celebrating many occasions. Maria will be remembered by many for her compassion, kindness and giving spirit. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM on Thursday, July 22 from 4-7pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Friday, July 23 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
