Guildo Joseph Morin, 64, of Derry, NH, passed away Sunday July 18, 2021, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in St. Rose, Canada on January 15, 1957, a son of Phillip and Marie Stella (Blanchette) Morin.
Gill was a hardworking, dedicated man who started working at Malden Mills as a teenager and built a career there for 40 plus years. He met the love of his life at the French Social in 1974, while she was singing with the band, and he was enjoying a cold one. The years that followed were filled with traveling on the motorcycle, dancing on Saturday nights, and loving one another. He was passionate about bringing new life to discarded items. He could often be found tinkering in the garage and tending to his garden. He was a man of few words, but the few words he said were meaningful. His children enjoyed the quiet moments, watching thunderstorms in the garage and sharing in his pastimes. His grandchildren share memories of building leaf piles, going on tractor rides, and picking apples.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Danielle (Prince) Morin; son, Ghislain Morin and wife Megan; daughter, Jamie Tan and husband Aykut; granddaughter, Abigail Hudgens; two grandsons, Alexander Hudgens and Andrew Morin; four siblings, Renald Morin, Huguette Perreault, Richard Morin and Lynn Morin and several nieces and nephews. Guildo is predeceased by his sister, Guilda Clavette
