Alberta M. (Sylvia) Lavoie, 88, of Westport passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Carvalho Grove Health and Rehabilitation in Fall River. She was the wife of Fernand U. Lavoie.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Dutra) Sylvia, she had lived in Westport since 1962. Prior to retirement, she was a school bus driver for many years in the Town of Westport. Mrs. Lavoie was a Communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport, where she was a member of the Young at Heart Club. She was also a member of the former Royal Travelers.
Including her husband, she is survived by 3 sons: Gregory A. Lavoie and his wife Del of Westport, Mark F. Lavoie and his wife Patricia of Middleboro and Lance Lavoie of Westport; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter.
Private arrangements were held.
