FALL RIVER – Jodi Lee Perreira, age 41, of Fall River, passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 unexpectedly at St. Anne’s Hospital. Born in Fall River, Jodi was the daughter of Kenneth R. Perreira (wife Barbara) of Fall River, and the late Debra A. (Emard) Perreira. She was also the beloved fiancée of Gary Swearingen of Fall River.
Jodi attended BMC Durfee High School, then graduated in 1997 from Lake Region High School, Eagle Lake, FL. She then furthered her education by graduating from the Salter School with a certificate in medical billing & coding. Jodi was currently working for Prima-Care Podiatrist Specialist, Dr. Atalay Sahin, as a Medical Assistant.
In addition to her father, step mother, & fiancé, Jodi is survived by her three loving children: Alexia “Lexi” Bouchard, Ryan Bouchard, and Kira Heppe all of Fall River; beloved grandson: Keagan Boivin of Fall River; her maternal grandparents: Edward and Marilyn Emard of Winter Haven, FL; her brother: David Perreira of Fall River; step siblings: Lenny Concepcion (wife Missy) of Swansea and Danielle Concepcion of Fall River; step nieces & nephews; aunts, uncle, and cousins. Jodi was the granddaughter of the late Pauline L. Emard, Richard “Rick” Perreira, and Alice (Farias) Perreira
Jodi’s funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA. on Tuesday, July 20th here at 9:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Good Shepherd Church at 10:00 AM. Cremation to follow. Calling hours on Monday, July 19th from 4-8 PM.
