MUSTO, Maria Grazia (Capone) of Westwood formerly of Roslindale, passed away on July 14 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Mario Musto. Loving mother to Silvia S. Musto of Westwood, Lorena Musto Pisano and her husband Guiseppantonio of Dedham, Anthony C. Musto and his wife Roxanne of Milton, Maria L. Musto of Westwood, and Mario Musto Jr. of Westwood and fiancé Zhanna. Cherished Nonna to Salvatore, Tania, Joseph, Michael, Brandon, Marco, and Mario III. Devoted Great Nonna to Nicholas, Joseph, Salvi, Giordana, and Joseph Jr. Maria Grazia is also survived by her sister Giovanina DePalma of Franklin and a large extended family of many nieces and nephews.
Maria and her husband Mario started many businesses together including Mario Musto Construction, Hyde Park Masonry, and Mario’s Restaurant. She will be remembered for the fabulous meals she created at Mario’s Restaurant in Hyde Park. It was a gathering spot for friends, family, local businessmen, politicians, and clients.
Her most cherished times were those spent with her family celebrating many occasions. Maria will be remembered by many for her amazing food, her kind and caring spirit, her beautiful smile, and infectious laugh. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Mary’s Church, 420 High St., Dedham on Tuesday, July 20 at 10:00am followed by interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. A private visitation for family only will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham prior to Mass.
