Ronald W. ‘Ron’ Rousseau, 55 of Lunenburg, passed away after a long illness with his family by his side on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. He was the husband of Tracy A. (Roper) Rousseau with whom he spent the last 31 years.
He was born in Lowell on December 29, 1965 and was a son of Joseph and Eileen (Perry) Rousseau, both of Dracut. He was raised and educated in Lowell, where he attended the area schools, graduating from Lowell Vocational Technical School. After graduation, he enlisted with the United States Navy, proudly serving his country until his honorable discharge in 1987.
For many years he operated a catering truck all around the Lowell Area, ’Ron's Canteen Express’. He and his brothers owned a meat provisioning company, ‘Four Brothers Meat Provisioning’. More recently he worked in Fire Suppression and started his own company, ‘Ace Fire Suppression’.
Ron enjoyed fishing, it was his real passion to freshwater or deep sea fish. He also enjoyed golfing. He was a jack of all trades and will be remembered for helping his family with anything, building decks, catering, or the meat company. Above all else, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Tracy Rousseau of Townsend, and his parents, Joseph and Eileen Rousseau of Dracut, he is survived by his five children, Joshua Rousseau of St. Petersburg, FL, Brianna Rousseau of N. Adams, MA, Tyler Rousseau and his fiancé, Christina Dodge of Ashburnham, MA, Morgan Rousseau of Townsend, MA, and Ava Rousseau of Townsend; and his two grandchildren, Adilynn Dodge-Rousseau and Weston Dodge-Rousseau both of Ashburnham, MA.
Ron is also survived by his siblings, Ernest Rousseau of Hudson, NH, Albert Rousseau and his wife, Shala of Orange, MA, Stacy Clark of Port St. Lucy, FL, and Erik Rousseau and his partner, Rigel Tong of Dracut; his uncle and friend, Roland Cole of Dracut, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Ron is predeceased by his biological mother, Cecile M. (Cloutier) Rousseau.

On Friday, July 23, 2021, all are welcome to attend his memorial visitation from 9 a.m.-12 noon at the McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street, Lowell, 978-458-6816.
At the conclusion of the visitation, his funeral service will take place at 12 noon in the funeral home, followed by procession to St. Joseph Cemetery.
