Roberta Boyle
1958-2021
On the morning of Sunday, July 11th the light dimmed as Roberta Ann Boyle gently slipped away. She passed with her loving Sister Maria Boyle Burgun by her side. “I love you” and “until we meet agains” were shared by family and good friends via the phone, something our Roberta had a fond affinity for.
Born on Saturday, March 22, 1958 in Lowell MA the first child to Janet Boyle and Robert (Bobby) Boyle. Roberta worked in the political arena, fundraising and as of recent helping young teens in the greater Lowell area as a job developer youth build with, “MassHire”.
Roberta unexpectedly passed in Tufts Medical Center, Boston MA due to complications after surgery post stroke.
Roberta was multi talented, loved crafts, was always the best dressed with a style all of her own, she reigned supreme at any sport she took part in. Roberta was especially talented at diving and was the most elegant Skier of all, like the seas, the path would open and trail would clear as Roberta traversed by. Skiers young and old would stop, stand and admire her elegance on the slopes not to mention the outfit she would be sporting, she was truly a vision to behold.
Roberta was a natural beauty, dubbed by her family, “The Breck Girl” as who could ever forget that hair. She was also fun to be with, had a sharp quick wit and was always the life of the party. Roberta had a great big personality, teasing and joking in her trademark manner but also had a very sensitive, empathetic, reflective side. Roberta loved and cared for all animals and their welfare especially her dogs.
Roberta was predeceased by her Mother Janet Boyle and her Father and best friend Robert (Bobby) Boyle.
Roberta leaves behind her Sister Maria and John Burgun and their children, Bailey Burgun, Brandon Burgun and wife Kristin of Plantation Florida, her brother Edward Boyle and wife Sue, their son Kody, daughter Ashley, her great niece Emma of Davie Florida. Many Aunts, Uncles and cousins and her beloved dog “Bridey” as well as many youths who’s future she deeply cared for. Her favorite among those Olf Mouyaka.
A private family celebration of her life will be held in Plantation Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lowell Humane Society in Roberta’s memory.
