Mrs. Ellen R. (Shawcross) Morin-Lawn, 94, of Methuen passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at Bear Mountain Nursing Home in Andover. The daughter of the late Samuel and Luciana (Fredette) Shawcross, she was born on August 21, 1926, in Lawrence, MA. Mrs. Morin was pre-deceased by her brothers William Shawcross, Joseph Shawcross, Frank Shawcross, and James Shawcross and was pre-deceased by her daughter Diane McLean. She was also pre-deceased by her first love, husband & father to her children Roland Morin and then her second love, husband Alexander Lawn. She is survived by her three sons: William Morin of Utah, Richard Morin of Methuen, and Robert Morin and his wife Carol of Las Vegas, NV. Ellen leaves behind 9 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Mrs. Morin retired from Western Electric and was a member of the Pioneers of America. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, and loved to spend time with her family. She will be remembered as the most devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, July 16, 2021, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Edgar J. Racicot Inc. Funeral Home, 1400 Broadway Rd., Dracut. Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at the Racicot Funeral Home, burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Methuen.
