Leona Ivonne Graham Alexander, 77, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 17, 2021, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiating. Ms. Alexander will be laid to rest at Omega Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 16, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ms. Alexander's grandsons, Jared Howard, Wade Gartman, Samuel Greene, Matthew Cato, Justin Gomez and Dennis Edwards will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ms. Alexander's grandsons, Justin Gartman, Gage Greene, Kellen Copeland and Ronnie Crossett.
Born October 6, 1943, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Ms. Alexander was the daughter of the late Millard and Pearl Spieth Graham. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Loyd Graham. Before retiring, she was a customer service representative with South Georgia Banking Company for 35 years.
Ms. Alexander is survived by three daughters and one son-in-law, Pam Howard of Norman Park and Debbie Gartman and Jan and Dennis Edwards, all of Tifton; one brother and sister-in-law, William and Alice Graham of Lilburn; ten grandchildren and their spouses, Staci and Kellen Copeland, Erin and Ronnie Crossett, Jared Howard, Ivy and Lyndsey Gartman, Justin Gartman, Wade and Tiana Gartman, Hope and Justin Gomez, Gage and Madeline Greene, Courtney and Matt Cato and Samuel Greene; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
