Nancy Joan Andrews, 78 of East Bridgewater Massachusetts went home to be with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ on Friday July 9th 2021. She was a long-time resident of Care One nursing home in Randolph Massachusetts.
Nancy was a long-time member of The First Baptist Church of Abington and enjoyed singing in the choir.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts on October 28th 1943 to the late John and Ruby Bearfield and the late step-father Donald Schulz.
She graduated from Jeremiah E. Burke High School for Girls in Boston Massachusetts, Class of 1962.
Nancy worked for Don Wolf Dress designer in Brookline, Massachusetts in the mid 70s. She then went on to work for Talbots in the Middleboro warehouse from there moved up to a corporate headquarters position in Hingham, Massachusetts as an Inventory Control Supervisor, she retired after 25 years of service.
Nancy was married to the late Sam Salmons in 1963. She was remarried to Carl Andrews on September 30, 1979 to whom she lived out 41 happy years with.
Nancy had 5 children, Peggy, Bruce, the late Kathryn, David, Anne, 2 step-children Dawn Marie, and Michele and one adopted granddaughter Erica. Nancy sadly leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren along with her beloved dachshund Woody. Nancy was the matriarch that held the family together.
She loved traveling to Nova Scotia and yearly camping to visit friends and family. We are all going to miss her generosity and sense of humor. She was everything to this family and we are going to miss her greatly.
We invite all family and friends to attend the wake and funeral on Thursday July 15th, between the hours of 10am and 12pm at Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman, MA 02382, followed by the burial in the East Bridgewater Central Cemetery, 170 Central St. East Bridgewater, MA 02333.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St., Suite 250, Framingham, MA 01701 or to Animal Rescue of one’s choice.
