Worcester – Cassandra B. Thompson, 28, of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 in UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus.
Cassandra is survived by her son, the love of her life, Ayvien Thompson and his father, Timothy D’Ambra; her mother, Selina Thompson of Worcester; her three brothers, Jeremy Rawson of Worcester, Nathan Thompson of Leicester and Nadrick Jenoure of Worcester; a sister in law, Kristina Hazard; her maternal grandmother, Geneva Barbour of Worcester; 2 nephews, Jeremy Rawson Jr. and Jaizae; many aunts and uncles including Michael Barbour and Joseph Thompson Jr. of Worcester and cousins and close friends.
Cassandra was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her father, Gilberto Guerra. She graduated from Tantasqua Regional High School in 2010 where she played on the girls’ varsity lacrosse team. Cassandra was enrolled in the nursing program at Becker College in Worcester until it’s closing this year.
Cassandra was a caring and loving person who let everyone know that she lived “In a judgement free zone”. She was often referred to as a social butterfly and loved to spend hr time singing and doing arts and crafts, which would almost always be given away to others.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 11 from 2 to 4 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home12 Hammond St. Worcester.
